We are WAGHARANYA!
A boutique jungle resort where nature meets the wild!
We christened in October 2023.
We hail from Nagpur, the Tiger Capital of India. Growing up, weekend trips were mostly to the national parks around Nagpur where idea of going to a jungle, living in the woods, sighting a tiger was mesmerizing and captivating. As time passed by, the mere emotion of being attracted to the wild transitioned to passion with a larger, more focused, and substantial objective of contributing to the tiger conservation efforts at Tadoba National Park.
So, it was a dream, a saga, a romance which was ingrained in our conscious for a very long time and was probably time to make that dream, that aspiration and that ambition come alive!
WAGHARANYA is a unique amalgamation of two words.” Wagh” in Marathi stands for the tiger while “Aranya” in Sanskrit means the jungle.
It’s an interdependent relationship, where one cannot exist without the other.

This blend captures the perfect harmony between the tiger and the jungle, inspiring our tagline: ‘Where nature meets the wild!’
